I-CARE Inc. Home Health Care Services was established in 1993 and is independently
owned by the Ivey Family.
- All of our caregivers have been through a rigorous employment process to ensure the highest quality. Caregivers are required to have an active Virginia CNA (certified nurse aide) license or Virginia issues PCA certificate (personal care aide).
- Caregivers successfully pass a Virginia state criminal history check
- Professional references are checked from previous employers or clients they have worked for. We only hire caregivers with exemplary references.
- All of our caregivers have successfully passed our Excellence Training Program. In this program we emphasize our Core Values and also train on various aspects of caregiving duties and responsibilities. This program is taught by Barbara Wheeler, Registered Nurse and Ashley Ivey Askew, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
All I-CARE caregivers, RNs and LPNS are W-2 employees with us. We take care of taxes, withholding and worker’s compensation.
Yes, we are Virginia State Licensed and we carry a variety of insurances including liability, worker’s compensation and bonding insurance.
Absolutely! Once a suitable caregiver is chosen that has the skill set for your needs, we send profile information to the client via email ( caregiver’s name, experience, picture etc. ). We then can schedule a “meet and greet” interview where our caregiver and caregiver field coordinator will come to speak with your family.
It is our goal to ensure all clients have the care they need. If a caregiver has an emergency and cannot make it to work, we notify the family immediately while scheduling a replacement caregiver.
Yes! We are available 24/7 for our clients’ needs including evenings, holidays and weekends.
